"Gulliver's Travels" (1939) is an animated musical fantasy film produced by Fleischer Studios and released by Paramount Pictures. It follows Lemuel Gulliver, a shipwrecked sailor who washes ashore on the island of Lilliput, where the inhabitants are tiny people. Tied down by the Lilliputians upon awakening, Gulliver eventually gains their trust by helping them in a war against the neighboring kingdom of Blefuscu over a royal marriage dispute. Through his giant size and intervention, he promotes peace between the two feuding lands.
